Just a few reminders...
Arrival and Pick-up Times:
Parents please do not arrive more than 10 minutes before the start of your scheduled class. The instructors may be setting up or finishing a class prior to yours. Please be prompt when picking up your child as the instructors have multiple classes in a row and will not be able to supervise him/her. A parent/guardian needs to come into the building to pick up their child. We do this for the safety of your children.
Observation of Classes:
The last day of the session is designated as our “Visitor’s Day” where parents, family, and friends may sit in and watch. Bring whoever you would like. The more the merrier!
Bathroom, Drinks, and Food:
Please take your child to the bathroom prior to class. Gum, food, and drinks other than water are not permitted. Water bottles kept in class are encouraged!
Proper Attire:
Please tie long hair back as well as no jewelry such as necklaces, earrings, or bracelets to prevent injury. Also, dress for movement, so no jeans please! Cheer is required to have tennis shoes in class. If the ground is wet before class, please bring an extra pair of shoes to use on the mats.
Waiting Areas:
We ask that if you are planning to stay during class that you stay outside the classroom (unless it is a parent participation class). Chairs will be set up for parents to sit on.
Medical Conditions:
If your child has a medical condition, please alert the instructors if it is something that they may need to be aware of or may affect the child’s ability to participate in class.
Make-ups for Missed Classes:
Classes missed for individual absences are not made up, nor may participants attend classes other than the one they are registered for. If Greenfield Parks and Recreation cancels a class due to weather or other reasons, we will try our best to reschedule the missed class; otherwise a credit will be given.
24-hour hotline: 414-297-9008
A Kind Reminder:
Toddling Tykes, Preschool Movement, Tykes 1 & 2, and Tiny Tots Dance are parent/child classes, which means parent participation is required! Please come prepared to move and assist your child in all of the activities. The instructors will spot your child and will instruct you on how to spot/support your child properly. If you are uncomfortable or unclear with the instructions, please ask!
If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to e-mail the Recreation Coordinator, Melanie.
